Since its inception in 1969, The New England Laborers' Training Trust Fund has been a leader in providing education and training in the Laborers' International Union of North America.

That tradition lives on today.

New England Laborers' Training Trust Fund (NELTTF) trainees receive intensive classroom and hands-on job simulated instruction in all aspects of the laborers trade. NELTTF is proud of its history, accredited Training Academies, comprehensive and specialized training programs, and top-quality graduates.

Like any industry, construction continues to evolve and change. Work opportunities that were once plentiful may decrease over time, while jobs we hadn't dreamed of may suddenly be in high demand. That is the power of training and the power of LIUNA; no matter how much the construction industry changes, LIUNA Training makes sure our workforce stays ahead of the curve.

The power of training can also build a recession proof career for those workers who take advantage of life-long training at their local area training center. From accredited curriculum to instructor certification, over 70 training centers across the U.S. and Canada have the programs and services to meet the needs of LIUNA members, union contractors and the industry. Each is designed to help LIUNA members adapt to the changes in the industry and keep you working.

“It has been an incredible journey to be a part of the growth of LIUNA’s Training Funds from their very conception in the 1960’s to the international powerhouse we see today.”
